THE SPIRIT COLLECTION

Late night musings and a bottle of whiskey after a colleague's exit show brought about "DISTILLED" (May 9th - June 1st 2014) a show in which 20 artists were invited to participate in a collaboration with Fremont Mischief.   

Unlike the heavy, masculine persona of many distilleries, Fremont Mischief stands out with a more delicate and feminine approach to it's spirit.

WHITE WHISKY
A pure white 5oz cup, with a clear juicy glaze that slops over the rim and runs in heavy drips down the side.  Thumb and forefinger cut outs help the cup nestle in your hand, as does the little tuck on the underside of the cup.  Made from my purest porcelain slip, these cups are sanded at every stage and their smooth, silky surface caresses your fingers, while the glaze drips give them something to play with.  
Made with late night whiskey sessions in mind.
 

G&T PLEASE
These are almost begging for a Gin & Tonic to be made in them!  The aquamarine glaze drips heavily over the rim, while the inside of the 5oz cup remains clear.  Like a tumbler, the cup sides are straight on this one, and there is a little tuck up underneath the cup, giving your fingers a little something extra.  Again, made from my purest porcelain slip, and sanded at every stage their smooth, silky surface caresses your fingers, while the glaze drips give them something to play with.

SHOT GLASSES CAN BE CLASSY TOO
1.5 oz shot glasses, with mix and match surfaces, for a quick nip, and a way to identify yours from others.  Glazed on the inside for easy clean up and a smooth lip - unglazed on the outside to tout the smooth porcelain surface.
